The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of April 20-24 indicate that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be on an important mission while Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) does something big and bold.
Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will also feel betrayed once again, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
For starters, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Winters (Bryton James) will react to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Holden Novak’s (Nathan Owens) surprising sibling connection.
Lily will also hear from Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), who’ll sadly confirm the twins aren’t a bone marrow donor match.
As for Holden, he’ll continue to turn to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) for support in the coming episodes.
Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will have a chance to meet Claire and may embarrass Holden a bit if she tries to push a romance between them.
However, Claire still has feelings for Holden – and those feelings may be growing even stronger now that she’s seen a more vulnerable side of him.
Meanwhile, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have a difficult discussion about her pregnancy and their fears about losing another child since they’ve both suffered great losses already.
Over with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), he’ll have some troubling news for Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) about the future of Summers Conglomerate.
That’ll presumably involve Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plans against Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), but Victoria will make some moves against Phyllis soon as well. Look for Victoria to carry out an investigation and hope she can come up with some dirt to use against Phyllis.
Victor might use Victoria’s potential dirt to back Phyllis into a corner since he’ll propose a deal that she can’t ignore.
Will Phyllis really be willing to surrender the Newman empire or will another curveball change the game?
In Las Vegas, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will speed down the road with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in the passenger seat, so Adam may worry about Nick driving under the influence of drugs if he suspects Nick’s still on them.
Nick is indeed still using, but he’ll feel like he’s got everything under control as he tries to save Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) from the chaos that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is about to unleash.
Noah and Sharon will fall into Matt’s trap at an old gas station, where an explosive Vegas climax could be brewing.
Back in Genoa City, Diane will spy Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in a compromising situation, so that’ll bring another fierce outburst.
As for Cane, he’ll step up for Lily when it comes to the search for Malcolm’s bone marrow donor.
Cane will do everything in his power to help Malcolm score a match, so that could mean getting tested himself, too.
Will Cane be the match that Malcolm needs in the end? Will that lead to Lily and Cane’s long-awaited romantic reunion?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane will show Lily another side of himself in the coming episodes, so stay tuned.
