The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for the week of April 27-May 1 reveals that things will take another scary turn in Las Vegas.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be in bad shape thanks to Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) twisted setup, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
After realizing it’s too dangerous for Nick to be driving right now, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will take the wheel and put his brother in the passenger seat.
At that point, Nick will look rough since his body will be craving more drugs.
Adam will know that Nick can’t possibly go up against Matt in his current state, so he’ll actually encourage Nick’s drug use due to the complicated situation.
“I mean, it’s obvious that you need it. Go ahead. Do what you gotta do,” Adam tells Nick in the weekly preview clip.
Unfortunately, Adam will feel guilty for giving Nick that push later.
That’s because this drug supply came from Matt, who already has another trick up his sleeve.
Once Nick and Adam find captive Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), more danger will erupt.
Nick will collapse due to tainted drugs right there in front of Sharon, Noah and Adam.
While Adam frantically tries to help Nick, Noah and Sharon will be scrambling as well.
Matt will gleefully watch the security video footage while sitting in his car, so he’ll definitely get some sick pleasure out of Nick’s suffering.
“Little rich boy Newman finally hit on the bag from the bad batch. What a shame,” Matt says in Y&R’s weekly promo.
Afterward, Adam will look disheveled and exhausted as he bursts back in the hotel suite to find a worried Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Chelsea will be relieved to see Adam in one piece as she gives him a hug.
From there, Chelsea will ask where Nick is, so Adam will pause like he’s got some terrible news.
Will Nick be in the hospital by then or could there be yet another Matt-related curveball?
