The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of August 3-7 indicates that a couple of departures are on the way.
There’ll also be an unexpected job takeover while a relationship ends up at risk due to growing problems.
After Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) talk about moving beyond old resentments, they’ll discuss what’s next.
It won’t take much for Nikki to get Victor on board with a trip to Venice since it’s her favorite destination.
However, Victor will gather the family for a small vow renewal celebration first.
Nikki will gladly agree to marry Victor all over again, so there’ll be some sweet moments as they make a fresh commitment to each other.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will decide rehab isn’t where he needs to be, so he’ll make a hasty departure from his facility and watch his parents tie the knot once more.
Of course, Nick’s addiction issues won’t magically disappear, so Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will come to his rescue once he starts spinning out later.
In the meantime, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will bolt for Los Angeles since this Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) drama is becoming too much to handle.
This double Y&R exit will lead to Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) handling the daily duties of running The Shadow Room in Genoa City, so Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will be taken aback over his big news.
After Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is formally discharged from her psychiatric facility, she’ll reenter society and will meet Matt for the very first time.
As for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he’s got an exciting week ahead of him.
Billy will clash with Victor, who’ll prove he knows exactly how to get under Billy’s skin and pour salt in his wounds.
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has been eager to put any past animosity to rest with Billy, so they’ll try to come together in the coming episodes.
Billy may sign his Chancellor contract and begin work, but what about that secret he thinks is hidden in the company somewhere?
Since Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will somehow nudge Billy down the right path, maybe she’ll say something inadvertently that gives him a hint.
Audra obviously doesn’t know the secret, but she might make a comment that puts Billy on the road to the truth anyway.
Over with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), she’ll summon Adam and push for yet another deal.
Adam and Sally will do some negotiating, but Billy probably isn’t going to like it!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say more cracks could form in Billy and Sally’s relationship when they really need to be preparing for their wedding and the birth of their child.
