The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview for the week of February 16-20 reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will catch Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) hiding drug use and demand answers.
Y&R’s weekly promo kicks off with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) making a confession to Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian).
After Daniel admits he still has no idea what’s going to happen in this whole Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) situation, Danny will speculate on what’s going on in his son’s head.
“And you think maybe that now that everything is out in the open, Mariah might be willing to let Tessa back in?” Danny asks Daniel in the preview clip.
Daniel may end up worried that Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) might reconnect with Mariah once she’s back in Genoa City and getting the treatment she needs.
Tessa claims she’s ready to move on, but Daniel may not be so sure.
Next, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will confront Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at the Chancellor office, where Billy will gloat about his victory and guess the reason for this visit.
Although Jack will claim he’s concerned about his brother, Billy will wonder if that’s really the case.
Billy will ask if Jack’s just “pissed off” that he’s the Abbott who bested Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) instead.
Jack may admit he agrees with Billy on some level when it comes to Victor and even Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) getting what they deserve.
However, that doesn’t mean Jack approves of the way Billy ripped Chancellor away from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Jack may argue that Nikki doesn’t deserve this, but Billy may disagree since she never takes a firm stand against her husband and is complicit in many of Victor’s dirty plans.
At Crimson Lights, Nick will look at an empty bag that previously contained fentanyl and perhaps contemplate how to score more.
When Sharon pops up with tea, she’ll startle Nick in the process.
After Nick scrambles to put the bag in his coat pocket, Sharon will notice and immediately start quizzing him.
“What was that? What did you just hide from me?” Sharon demands to know in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
Will Nick lie his way out of this or tell Sharon the truth?
Nick’s drug addiction will become a growing problem regardless, so stay tuned for updates on where things will go from here.
