The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for the week of May 11-15 reveals that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will have a spark of mischief while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) plots another bold move.
Y&R’s weekly promo kicks off with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), who asks if he’s hearing Phyllis correctly and if she’s going to make a deal.
In the preview clip, Michael holds out hope that Phyllis is giving up Newman Enterprises to avoid legal repercussions, but Phyllis hints about having something better in mind.
It sounds like Phyllis will have more tricks up her sleeve, so Michael may worry whatever she’s plotting is going to backfire.
The stakes are higher than ever for Phyllis since she could be facing prison, so Michael may remind her of that soon enough.
Next, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will dance around an accusation until Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) finally just pushes him to come out with it.
Y&R’s weekly preview features Adam asking if Nick’s using again, so he’s about to put his brother on the spot.
Nick may be frustrated over Adam’s suspicions, but it’s obvious that Adam only wants to give him the support he needs.
Perhaps Nick will realize that in the end and thank Adam for checking in.
At Crimson Lights, Matt will cross paths with Patty and prompt a smile.
Even if Patty doesn’t recognize Matt, she may sense that he’s a kindred spirit in some way.
Both Patty and Matt have been known to stir up their fair share of trouble.
If a Matt and Patty alliance is brewing, that could certainly have a huge impact on Genoa City.
Matt can’t remember his old life at the moment, but he may admit to Patty that he’s heard some bad things!
After a faceoff with Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), Matt will know his very presence in town is enough to cause a fierce reaction.
However, Patty is all about rehabilitation and redemption these days – or at least she claims to be!
Perhaps Patty will contend that Matt can have those things too and suggest they should help each other out.
