The Young and the Restless (Y&R) update for the week of September 14-18 says that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will come face to face for the first time in a while, so Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will help them navigate the encounter ahead.
Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) romantic mission will also take a disastrous turn – perhaps in more ways than one!
The week will begin with Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) hospital trap for Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) along with Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) attempt to get her back to his motel.
Matt and Phyllis will hope to stop Patty in her tracks so that they can get their joint heroic moment in the sun.
However, things may not work out like Phyllis and Matt want.
There’ll be more Patty chaos, but she’ll eventually make sure an unsettling message makes it to Jack and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).
Patty’s departure is apparently coming up, but she’ll leave Diane and Jack with some scary parting words.
After Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) convinces Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to have a conversation about their future, he’ll extend a peace offering to Devon Winters (Bryton James).
Despite Cane’s best efforts to win Devon over, it may not happen anytime soon!
During another motel romp, Y&R spoilers say Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will show off her bossy side with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and add to the thrill of it all.
At Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) place, he’ll make out with Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) and even share a dance with her.
Since Nate and Stephanie feel such a strong connection, it could lead to him taking her upstairs to bed sooner or later.
Following Nick’s rehab release, he’ll head to the coffeehouse and catch up with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
There’ll be some tension once Matt arrives with Phyllis, so Phyllis will try to play referee and dial down Nick’s anger level.
Unfortunately, Phyllis will strike out when it comes to pushing for Matt’s acceptance in Genoa City.
On the bright side, Phyllis may make a little progress repairing her bond with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) since she’ll get behind his latest news.
Over with Billy, he’ll cause a cooking catastrophe as he tries to treat Sally to a romantic night in.
There could be some real issues between Sally and Billy later since she’ll end up leaning on Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) for support.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will become a surprising source of comfort, so stay tuned.
