The Young and the Restless (Y&R) update for the week of September 21-25 shows that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will try to convince Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that she’s setting herself up for catastrophe.
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will also have similar plans regarding Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
For starters, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will settle on a Valentine’s Day launch for Vibrante.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will do everything he can to make sure Nikki has the company ready to go by then, so they’ll hope for good news.
However, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walterson) won’t be able to shake her concerns about some sabotage that might be looming for Jabot.
The fact that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is so chummy with Nikki will remain an issue for Diane as well.
Jack will ultimately make a vow to his wife, so he may promise that he won’t let Nikki, Vibrante or anything else come between them ever again.
We’ll see Jack do his best to ease Diane’s mind, but another round of Abbott-Newman feuding is obviously on the horizon.
After Sally convinces Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to take Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) place as a bridesmaid, Audra will flip out over the wedding party addition.
Sally will try to convince Audra that she wants to use this as a path to peace, but Audra will think she’s inviting disaster to her wedding instead.
Audra may assume this will lead to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) coming to the event and stirring up trouble.
As for Adam, he’ll make some sort of sacrificial move for Chelsea’s sake.
Adam may let Chelsea decide whether he should attend the ceremony or stay away to preserve the couple’s happiness.
Of course, there’s a good chance Adam will end up at the wedding regardless. The show’s setting up some drama that Adam will surely need to be part of down the road!
At the Riverbank Motel, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will let Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) know that he’s had yet another change in perspective.
It sounds like Matt’s going to skip leaving town with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) and bewilder Phyllis with his abrupt turnaround.
As for Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox), she’ll join Nate Hastings (Sean Dominc) for a public outing and question what kind of romantic box they fit in now.
Other Y&R spoilers say an Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) reminder will hit hard for Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).
It’ll leave Claire worried she won’t ever be able to truly escape her past, but Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will come to her rescue.
Billy will also have a rough time in the coming episodes, so both Cane and Traci will work to help him ahead of his wedding.
That may involve some talk about Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow) and whether Billy can patch things up with her in time for the ceremony.
At Society, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will come through for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and offer some guidance.
Nick will have to decide something now that he’s out of rehab, so stay tuned to watch Sharon help him navigate things.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will appreciate Sharon’s support, so stay tuned to see if their romance might come back around sooner or later.
