You think Prince William would be happy with handsome Prince George and pretty Princess Charlotte! As a few Royal couples around the world get ready to welcome new additions to their families Prince William might be a little jealous that the baby spotlight is shifting.
The Duchess of Cambridge may have said a big family is planned for their Royal Highnesses, but is Princess Kate done having babies? One boy, one girl – that’s it! Kate Middleton has enough of the world’s attention without getting pregnant again, right? And then there’s that nasty morning sickness Duchess Kate endured during both pregnancies. Certainly the Duchess isn’t quite ready for another round of THAT yet?
Who knows these Royals couples – except the subjects in their own countries – preparing for babies?
Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden and husband Daniel Westling are expecting baby No. 2 in mid to late March. Sister-in-law Princess Sofia – she’s married to Victoria’s brother Prince Carl Philip – is expecting the couple’s first baby sometime in April. Neither Swedish Royal couple has announced the gender of their little one.
Jetsun Pema – Queen of Bhutan – is also pregnant and speculation is that King Jigme’s little heir will arrive sometime in the first few months of 2016. Kate Middleton and Prince William are scheduled for an official visit to Bhutan this spring. Will Duchess Kate get baby fever in Bhutan? Wouldn’t it be ironic if the Duchess of Cambridge conceived while in Bhutan?
Is another prince or princess in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s plans for 2016 or 2017? Would Prince William really divorce Kate Middleton if the Duchess refuses to have another baby? After all, brides of those in line to the throne are expected to produce an heir and a spare. Duchess Kate has fulfilled that particular obligation.
