General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, February 24 reveal that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is having the worst day of her life. Just after Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) and Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) told her that her days as a spy are over, she’s arrested.
A PCPD cop comes to the hospital room and tells Anna they had a report of breaking and entering and he’s there to arrest her. Robin blows up not only because she doesn’t want her mom arrested but also because her mom is too sick to be moved.
Robin and Griffin will shut down the arrest nonsense while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) goes to see Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for more info on the B&E. Valentin is stunned and says he didn’t file a complaint.
He’s even more shocked when Nina Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) says she reported the break in. There’s no way Valentin will press charges especially since Anna is so sick. He’s trapped between a jealous wife and his twisted history with Anna.
Even without an arrest, Anna’s day keeps going downhill. Olivia “Liv” Jerome (Tonja Walker) assumes Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is dead so she continues on with her revenge plans. Next on her list is Anna. Liv creeps into Anna’s room at GH with scissors in hand ready to attack.
Sam is not dead but is in bad shape, injured and at the bottom of a steep fall. It’s freezing and she’s very pregnant. Sam tries to keep her wits about her but it looks like she’s too injured to get herself out of this mess. Sam tries to find the strength to save herself and her baby.
Over at the MetroCourt, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) talk about how life takes twists and turns. Alexis is talking about Julian Jerome (William deVry) and how badly their marriage was botched.
Laura asks her how things might have turned out differently. It’s funny that Alexis is with Laura since Julian will also have his eye on Laura soon. He has to swing the GH vote because he thinks Liv still has Sam in her clutches.
Julian contacts Winston Rudge (David Lee) and paints a target on her back. It seems like Laura will not make it to the GH board meeting – Rudge will kidnap her. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is confident the Qs will win the hospital, but maybe not.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) shows up for the meeting and tells Tracy it breaks her heart but GH is over as of today. Will Lucy vote for Liv’s bid instead of the Qs since she’s so desperate for cash? Without Laura, the vote might flip against the Quartermaines.
Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) finally confronts Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) on his addiction and she wants him to get help. However, Finn is doing what all addicts do – lie and try and keep their secrets. She’s outraged at his antics.
Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) decide to go dig up skeletons in the Jerome family closet and heads to a crypt. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) doesn’t like the corpse hunt but once they pull back the granite lid on Liv’s grave, what they find shocks them.
