The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is in for a big surprise. Now should be a carefree and fun time for him, given that his engagement party and wedding are coming up in short order. But things haven’t exactly been going his way, all thanks to Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). As Y&R viewers know, Theo has been a thorn in Kyle’s side for some time now, as he just won’t let Kyle move on from his past.
Unfortunately, The Young and the Restless spoilers say it’s looking more and more like Kyle has a seriously dark New York related secret lurking in his past…a secret that Theo is just itching to reveal to Kyle’s inner circle, including Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). From Theo’s perspective, Kyle is living a charade now that he’s settled down with one woman and is “pretending” to be an upstanding citizen. Theo would like to throw a wrench in Kyle’s boring and perfect life.
Well, it looks like Theo will gear up for a big revelation about Kyle’s past. Of course, Kyle has warned Theo not to go there, but Theo seems hell-bent on proving that Kyle’s not the kind of person he’s now claiming to be. First, Y&R spoilers say that Theo will cause a stir at Kyle and Lola’s engagement party, which will be a co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party.
It doesn’t look like Theo will spill Kyle’s big secret, but Y&R spoilers say that he’ll make a big toast to the groom, during which he strongly hints at something from Kyle’s past. It looks like it will be one of those situations where nobody really gets what Theo is saying…except for Kyle, who will be livid that Theo is dancing around the topic.
But it looks like there could be even more trouble headed Kyle’s way, and it just might happen at the wedding ceremony itself. It’s a terrible thought, but Y&R spoilers indicate that Theo may get someone from Kyle’s New York past to crash the wedding…a woman who is slated to appear on canvas right about the time that “Kola’s” wedding should be happening.
As Y&R viewers may know, actress Anna Grace Barlow will be joining the show as a character named Zoe Hardisty for a few episodes beginning on Thursday, August 15. This sounds just like someone who could be from Kyle’s past, as she’s a young woman about Kyle and Lola’s age. It’s looking more and more likely that Zoe could totally interrupt the wedding and reveal a shocking truth about Kyle.
But what could her secret possibly be? Could she be a former flame of Kyle’s – perhaps someone who he used and/or got into trouble with back during his New York days? Given that Theo previously referenced Kyle “cleaning up” some situation, Zoe could have been involved, and perhaps she was a victim of Kyle and Theo’s in some way.
Whatever the case, it must be pretty bad for Zoe to make the trek to Genoa City to disrupt Kyle’s wedding at Theo’s request. Could we be looking at a situation where the officiant will ask whether anyone sees reason why this couple shouldn’t be married, and Zoe will suddenly speak up?
At any rate, it’s starting to look less and less like Kola are going to end up husband and wife, as this situation has “wedding interruption” written all over it.
