General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has come back on the scene with some swagger. Although he’s growing a bit impatient about this codicil hunt, Nikolas is confident that he can take back what was stolen from him and bring Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) down. Of course, there are some other factors in play that could throw off Nik’s plans.
Valentin was relieved when Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) took the blame for the fake daughter plot. She kept Valentin’s hands clean to preserve Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) happiness. Valentin believes he just has to keep the loose ends from unraveling. That could prove difficult with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) digging around!
Of course, it doesn’t really matter anyway since General Hospital spoilers indicate that Nina already seems to know what’s up. She may not know how Valentin faked all those DNA tests, but she certainly knows he’s capable of it – far more capable than Sasha’s pretend friend. Nina has been burned too many times to just accept Valentin’s version of events right off the bat. She’s seemingly plotting against him – and that decision could affect Nikolas’ plans more than he knows.
The fact that Nikolas is back at all will rile Valentin. When you throw in Nikolas swiping the Cassadine fortune back and toppling Valentin’s empire, that’ll be another infuriating blow. Without Nina, Valentin may feel he has nothing to lose. After Nina’s plot is exposed, we could see the darkest version of Valentin yet. He’ll hit rock bottom thanks to Nina, Nikolas and everyone out to get him.
Valentin deserves whatever he’s got coming, but he obviously won’t see it that way. You can bet Valentin will want revenge. He’ll still have Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) in his life, but General Hospital spoilers point to some danger for her soon enough. If Charlotte somehow gets caught in this chaos, all bets will be off as far as Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicolas Bechtel) concerned.
Valentin already warned Laura Webber (Genie Francis) about keeping Spencer in line. GH writers made sure to highlight that Spencer was a young adult, and Valentin argued that he may have to deal with him the way he deals with other threats. Whether that means the show intends to SORAS Spencer or they’re just referring to Bechtel as a young adult, it’s clear that Valentin no longer views Spencer as an innocent child.
Will Nikolas’ plan ultimately lead to danger for Spencer? Spencer’s been mentioned a ton lately, and everyone’s made it clear that this takedown plot’s for Spencer’s sake. There’s no official word yet on Spencer’s comeback, but has to rejoin the action eventually. His father just returned from the dead! It’d be an epic way to reunite Nikolas and Spencer if Nik came to his son’s rescue.
