Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that there’s an important question to address since Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) presumed death is coming up. Vincent Belman (Michael Teh) will create an explosion that seemingly ends Ciara’s life, but Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will suspect that’s not the truth. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will battle some doubts of his own, but he may worry he’s just clinging to false hope.
Regardless, Ciara will be out of the picture following this terrible tragedy. That brings us to the important question we mentioned: Will Ciara get a memorial service?
There won’t be remains for a funeral since Ciara will actually be alive. Days spoilers say Ciara will return to DOOL at some point – and we trust Hope’s detective instincts on this anyway.
Even so, it sounds like Hope will be working off a feeling – a hunch based on what a mother knows in her heart. Hope may feel like she’d know if her daughter were really gone forever.
There’s a strong connection between Hope and Ciara, so that may still be alive and well in the aftermath of all this. Hope might feel like Ciara’s out there somewhere desperate to be saved.
Even so, Hope’s faith in this theory may not be widespread around Salem. Will Hope be viewed as the grieving mom who’s so distraught that she goes off on a wild goose chase? Could there be a memorial service that Hope refuses to attend despite everyone’s push for it?
Ben may not be able to take the finality of a memorial service either, so this seems like something they may choose to skip for now. Although Ben may not be as certain as Hope that Ciara’s alive, he’ll at last want to believe that.
Maybe Hope and Ben will shut down any memorial service attempts until there’s undeniable proof that Ciara’s dead – and hope there’ll be proof she’s alive instead!
Luckily, Ciara will survive this blast and make a comeback down the road. Days of Our Lives may not be able to lock in a long-term return anytime soon, but that might happen eventually. Regardless, Ben and Ciara’s love story will have a chance to continue.
