Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) could make a big mistake by getting too close to Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). Days fans know Jan admitted to Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) that she’s been known to become obsessed in the past. We’d have to agree – except we’d leave off the “in the past” part!
Jan’s still very much obsessed with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), Belle Black (Martha Madison) and finding ways to make their lives miserable. However, there’s always room for new obsessions when it comes to a gal like Jan.
Could Jan become fixated on Xander next? Let’s look at some clues and see where this hot plot might be headed.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will put his manipulation skills to good use on September 21. Xander will pretend to take an interest in Jan and her feelings. He’ll try to form a partnership, but Jan could easily assume Xander’s interested in more than just her help.
DOOL viewers can also expect Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to fret over Jan, so she’ll push Xander to stay away from her. That’s another red flag. When someone fears trouble’s brewing on a soap, it’s almost guaranteed to happen.
The fact that Sarah will be so concerned about Xander and Jan’s connection is a warning sign.
Of course, Xander has proven he adores Sarah, so she may be more worried about harm to Xander than cheating. There’s a good chance Sarah’s heard what happened at the Last Blast Crew’s reunion. Jan kidnapped Shawn and threatened to detonate a bomb at the party, so Sarah has good reasons to be fearful.
We should focus on that Shawn kidnapping part though. Now that Xander’s going to be cozying up to Jan as part of his scheme to take down Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), could Xander get kidnapped this time around?
It’s easy to imagine Xander shirtless and tied to a bed – just like Shawn was on the DOOL app’s Last Blast Reunion digital series.
Jan hasn’t changed and will definitely cause problems, so it makes sense for Xander to become a target. That’s especially true since Philip can run Titan alone and act like Xander’s bailing on his duties.
Philip may convince Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) that Xander’s slacking off when in reality, Xander may be held captive somewhere!
Perhaps it’ll be up to Sarah to solve this mystery and find Xander, but she may be in danger, too. Jan could easily decide Xander should be hers and hers alone. That could mean targeting Sarah to get Xander’s girlfriend out of the way. Jan might think that’s the key to making Xander love her instead.
Days of Our Lives has brought back a nutty character, so they might as well take full advantage of all Jan’s craziness. Will Xander be kidnapped at some point during Jan’s latest arc? Will Sarah also find herself in peril thanks to Jan? We’ll offer updates as other Days news comes in.
