Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, September 18, tease that the NBC soap will be preempted. There’s been some confusion among many Days fans, so we’re here to clear up the preemption schedule – just in case you’re wondering where your favorite soap is!
Due to U.S. Open Golf Championship coverage, DOOL was preempted on Thursday, September 17. It won’t be seen on Friday either as golf coverage continues. Fortunately, Days of Our Lives spoilers say the action will resume on Monday, September 21.
The show will pick up right where Wednesday’s episode left off, so you won’t miss anything. DOOL will simply dive back into the drama.
To refresh your memory, here’s what went down on Wednesday, September 16. Belle Black (Martha Madison) went off on Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) for trying to be Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) pal.
Claire was given a stern warning about conniving Jan, but it seemed like it came a little too late. Jan already made quite an impression on Jan – and that’s bound to cause more trouble.
Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) clashed with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) at Titan before approaching Jan. Days viewers could see that Xander’s wheels were turning, but he’d better watch his back since Jan’s such a nut job!
As for Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), he received an incredible offer from Angie (Nzinga Blake), which was really more of a desperate request for the villagers in Africa. Eric was adamant about turning it down, but Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) wondered if staying in Salem was what Eric truly wanted to do.
Wednesday’s episode also brought John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) fierce outburst before Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) landed back at the DiMera mansion.
That’s where Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) returned and caught her mom trying to book a return flight to Rome. Sami planned to take the baby with her, but Allie has no intention of letting her mom get away with this.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Monday, September 21, will bring the rest of Allie and Sami’s showdown. Sami will defend the recent custody battle, but Allie will just think it was a matter of her mother completely ignoring her wishes.
Monday’s show will also feature Xander attempting to manipulate Jan and perhaps getting manipulated right back! Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is definitely going to be wary – and so will Marlena, who’ll warn Claire to stay away from Jan and trust that she’s a foe rather than a friend.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will also have a big problem with Philip and Belle’s warm embrace, so an action-packed episode awaits.
