The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of February 7-11 tease that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will have some news from Peru – and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will share some con details that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t buy. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also crave a new man, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At Newman Media, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will pick a COO before Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) can beat him to the punch.
Adam won’t want Victoria sending in a spy and will already have the perfect selection in mind.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be taken aback when Adam names her COO of the company, but he’ll truly want Sally by his side.
Adam will envision a bright future – and that could also go for their personal lives if all goes well.
However, Adam will insist they should hold off on their romance until they can get Sally settled in her new COO role.
Y&R spoilers say temptation will bring some other steamy situations as Sally and Adam try to make this work.
In the meantime, Victor will ask Ashland why he didn’t tell anyone about his clinic connection.
Ashland has ties to a shell company that funded the Peruvian clinic that supposedly saved his life.
It just seems like something Ashland would want to reveal – or at least wouldn’t go out of his way to hide.
The fact that Victor had to dig for this information is suspicious, but Ashland will have plenty of excuses.
Ashland will suggest he was donating to this clinic long before he ever got cancer himself. He’ll act like he heard about the clinic through someone he used to work with who recovered from cancer.
Victor will find that story just a little too neat and tidy – like it’s been rehearsed in case Ashland’s clinic connection was ever discovered.
Since Victor will smell a con job, he’ll push Michael to uncover the real story at that Peruvian clinic.
Michael will report back with some shocking news eventually – and it should point to Ashland never having cancer at all.
Ashland will end up confessing to Victoria before the week’s over, so we’ll see if he spins another tale or lets Victoria in on at least part of the truth.
Regardless, some juicy Ashland drama is brewing – and don’t miss Robert Newman’s first scenes as an Ashland recast.
Newman’s first airdate will be Wednesday, February 9, so be sure to tune in!
Over with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), he’ll dream he’s sharing a smooch with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and add to his unrequited love woes.
Chelsea will also imagine a Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) kiss in her sleep, so that’ll definitely catch her off guard once she awakens.
Rey could become Chelsea’s new man if she plays her cards right, so we’ll see how it goes!
Across town, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have a problem that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) saw coming.
Billy has been full of optimism about their new arrangement at Chancellor Industries, but the COO gig may not be enough to keep him interested.
However, Billy will add a little spice to his life through a new endeavor, so that should help – at least for now!
As for Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), they’ll launch an investigation that’ll most likely revolve around Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) love life.
While Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is off trying to decide whether she should take the Milan job, Jack will deal with a turning point in his own life.
Will Jack fight for a future with Phyllis or go his own way?
Jack truly wants Phyllis as more than a friend, so maybe he can gather up the courage and go after what he wants.
Phyllis and Jack are set to get an intriguing new mystery storyline, so that should kick off before you know it.
When it comes to Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware), he’ll have all the support he needs.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will rush right over to the Chancellor mansion just as soon as he learns Dom’s been sick.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will offer reassurance based on Dominic’s visit to the doctor.
The baby’s physical tests will go all right, but blood tests will still have to be done.
That’ll bring some fears about the cause of Dominic’s medical crisis, so Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will await answers along with Chance and Devon.
It looks like Chance will face another stumbling block in his recovery, but Dominic will remain the priority as his test results loom.
A bio daddy bomb seems poised to drop down the road, so don’t miss all the action.
