The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 21, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had a confusing Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) reunion and kicked Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) out of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) family time.
At the hospital on Thursday’s B&B episode, Liam assured Steffy that he wasn’t going anywhere. Steffy was eager to go home and suddenly remembered Kelly.
Steffy begged Liam to go get their daughter, so Liam said he would and vowed to be right back.
In the waiting area, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) argued that Steffy was repressing the memory as a way to cope.
Taylor didn’t think Steffy had the emotional resources to deal with John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) death.
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) piped up that she wished she could forget it! Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) backed Taylor up about Steffy being confused and fragile, but Brooke remained upset.
From Brooke’s perspective, they were letting Steffy live in a delusional world where she was still married to Liam.
Brooke was concerned about this Liam fixation, but Taylor acted like it was deeper since Steffy had gone to her safe place and had such a strong connection with her ex.
In fact, Taylor had to wonder if Steffy was repressing her true love for Liam.
Taylor felt it would be dangerous to bring Steffy in the loop on Finn too soon, but Brooke warned Taylor not to make this an issue for them.
Taylor argued that Brooke was the one making it an issue.
However, Brooke felt that Taylor was using the situation to drive a wedge between Hope and Liam.
After Liam told Hope that Steffy wanted to see Kelly, he thought that was good since it might help ground her.
Hope insisted they all wanted what was best for Steffy, so Liam hugged her and thanked her for being so understanding about all this.
Hope then visited Steffy’s bedside, which surprised Steffy since they didn’t always get along.
Steffy seemed a bit wary of Hope, who asked if she remembered anything about that night or perhaps something that came before.
After Steffy mentioned remembering her family with Liam and Kelly, Hope suggested Steffy’s family was so much bigger than that.
Hope said Steffy would never be alone, so Steffy pointed out that Liam said he’d never leave her.
Hope vowed to be there for Steffy as well and told her that they all would. She knew Steffy could get her memories back and truly move on.
Once Liam brought Kelly in, Steffy marveled over how big she’d gotten.
Kelly seemed confused about that, but she was too overjoyed to focus on it for too long.
Kelly was also glad to see Steffy, who cried happy tears and couldn’t wait to come home to Kelly’s drawings.
Steffy said she felt better with all the cuddles before telling Hope that she wanted some alone time with her daughter and husband.
Hope was uncomfortable, but she left and peeked in through the window at the warm “Steam” family moment.
Steffy told Kelly and Liam that she loved them, so Liam told Steffy he loved her too and smiled back at her.
