General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) will learn the truth about Cassius Faison a.k.a. ‘Fake Nathan West’ (Ryan Paevey).
Since “Nathan” returned to town, Liesl has been on cloud 9, grateful that her son was alive.
The man was shot in 2018, and when he returned, she looked forward to reconnecting with Nathan and making up for time lost.
While fans had the sense that ‘Nathan’ was not Nathan from the get-go, it took some time for the truth to come out on canvas.
In a typical soap plot twist, Fake Nathan was really his unknown twin brother, Cassius, who was raised by their father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
Little by little, General Hospital viewers found out that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was in the loop about her brother.
This which explained why she was so freaked out, rather than grateful, when Nathan returned.
The only people who know that Nathan is Cassius are Britt, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
During the week of June 8-12, Liesl will likely find out the truth, and her entire world will be flipped upside down.
After all, she never knew Cassius even existed – she always believed she only had one son.
In addition, Cullum will place the woman that he kidnapped on Friday, June 5, in the same Wyndemere prison cell as Josslyn. When Cassius finds out that Liesl is being held hostage, he’ll be outraged.
Whether he stumbles upon Liesl as he’s visiting Joss, or Sidwell fills him in beforehand, his mom taking over for Britt on the research project won’t sit well with him.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that during the Tuesday, June 9 episode, Cassius will make a confession. There are preview scenes that show him in the cell with Liesl and Josslyn.
All arrows are pointing toward the idea that Liesl learns the truth, which will be a lot for her to process.
Finding out Nathan is still dead will be shocking enough; however, also being told she’s had another son this entire time – one that was raised solely by Faison – will be overwhelming.
It may also make sense to Liesl as to why Nathan was okay with being dumped by Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), but her shock will outweigh her reasoning.
Still, will Liesl open her arms to Cassius, and beg for a relationship? It’ll be an awkward situation since Cassius is technically holding her hostage too, as he’ll still be taking orders from Sidwell and Cullum.
General Hospital spoilers imply that Cassius isn’t the nicest guy in PC, but he seems to care for his sister and mom, even though he doesn’t always show it.
Still, will he be the one to bring down Cullum to ‘save’ his mom (and Joss)?
