The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Friday, June 12, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will ask Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) to return to Genoa City while Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) medical problems worsen.
At the GCAC, Nikki will blast Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) over how he’s dealing with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
The fact that Victor gave Chancellor to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) won’t go over well either, but Victor will remain cold with Nikki.
When Nikki has a sudden, sharp headache, it’ll leave Victor worried about her MS flaring up.
Nikki won’t want Victor acting like he cares and will blame the stress he’s causing when another painful headache strikes.
Victor will hint about Nikki needing a doctor, but she’ll ultimately stomp away from the table.
Once Nikki makes it toward the staircase, she’ll grab something to stay upright as her vision starts to blur and her issues get worse.
At the Newman ranch, Matt will express doubts about spying on Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), especially since he’s seen his picture now and knows they met at the athletic club when he first came back to town.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) won’t think that’s a big deal and will make it clear that Matt has to do whatever Victor says.
At the park café, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will chat with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) about the baby and her upcoming wedding.
Sally will hope that maybe Victoria can reach out to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and apologize for being a little hard on him before.
Victoria won’t think she was too hard on Billy at all considering he played a role in the family losing Newman Enterprises.
Furthermore, Newman-Media was folded into Spectra-Charles Media, so Sally benefited from what happened.
After Adam shows up with Matt, he’ll introduce him to Sally as a friend of the family.
Once Sally takes off, Adam will bicker with Victoria since she won’t like this plan to have Matt out in the world.
Adam will remind Victoria that Victor gives the orders and will insist on sticking to their father’s Cane spy scheme.
Once Cane arrives for a meeting that the Newmans requested, Adam and Victoria will act like this is about clearing the air now that Cane’s charges have been dropped.
Cane will suspect something else is going on and will wonder why Matt’s there after getting an introduction.
Adam will play it like Matt’s a family friend who could be sticking around for a while and coming to work for them.
Matt will do what he’s been told, so he’ll gush over meeting “Aristotle Dumas” and hype up what a genius he was for amassing his empire so quickly.
Although Matt will want to buy Cane a drink sometime and discuss his next meteoric rise, he’ll come on pretty strong and leave Cane seeming skeptical.
At the coffeehouse, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will arrive as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) speaks with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) over the phone.
There’ll be good news since Mariah has made amazing progress and has a meeting next week to discuss the possibility of her release.
Sharon will acknowledge that it’s a preliminary thing and that a judge will have to sign off in the end, but she’ll still be feeling hopeful.
Sharon will give Phyllis a pep talk about fixing things with her own children and will be glad they still have the connection that bonded them during their Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) ordeal.
On Friday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis will eventually text Summer a message about giving up Newman Enterprises and wanting to repair their relationship.
Phyllis will hope that maybe Summer could come home for a bit – though she’ll wonder if Summer still thinks of GC as home and of Phyllis as her mom.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will do whatever she can to make amends with Summer and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziaidei), so stay tuned.
CDL will have other scorching Young and the Restless spoilers and news for you, so make us your top Y&R source.
