General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) plan to silence Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may not work out as well as she hoped. Drew may get vengeance anyway and try to ruin Willow’s life.
Willow previously wanted Drew deceased, but now she regrets taking things that far.
Although Willow wants to stop drugging Drew, she’s been concerned about him exposing her paralytic plot and the fact that his “stroke” was her doing.
However, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) claims to have found the leverage Willow’s been waiting for.
According to Brennan, Drew misappropriated federal funds, so he’s willing to give Willow that proof as part of their deal.
Of course, it’s possible Brennan was just saying what Willow wanted to hear to avoid another paralytic dose.
That said, it makes sense that Brennan genuinely found some Drew dirt since he was already digging for it.
Despite Willow finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel, there are plenty of ways this plan could go wrong.
For starters, Willow and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) still have to give Drew a dose or two before Brennan can fully recover and come through with the evidence.
That means there’s still time for someone to catch on and try to expose Willow, so that’s one potential path to disaster.
Even if Willow can avoid exposure and bring Drew out of his locked-in state, GH spoilers suggest there are going to be other challenges.
Willow is hoping that if she blackmails Drew with her new dirt, he’ll keep his mouth shut about what she’s done to avoid going back to prison.
The desire to resume his normal life and be a father to Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) will be a powerful motivator for Drew to stay silent.
Nevertheless, Willow needs to remember that there are other ways of getting revenge!
Drew doesn’t have to expose the fake stroke fiasco and send Willow to Pentonville to make her pay.
Drew could use other strategies to dismantle Willow’s life piece by piece.
Willow could lose her career and her children depending on whatever tactics Drew might use while keeping his own hands clean.
Bottom line, Drew will surely find some way to get his revenge, even if it doesn’t involve putting Willow behind bars!
