In tonight’s America’s Got Talent episode, the Auditions continue. Only this time the judges walked in to find the stage already set for the first act. They were Steve and Mark. They were professional chain reaction artists. It sounded cool, It was obviously elaborate as well. They created something with a 50/50 chance and it had looked like it would fail until somehow it worked. It came together. It invigorated the crowd. It also shocked Simon who had a figure of himself suffer an explosion. It was actually fun to watch. It all worked out and it was just Mel who had a problem with it.

Mel claimed she would’ve liked a running commentary to say what’s going to happen. Simon then pointed out that the audience was old enough to understand without being told. The guys hadn’t known for sure if their experiment was going to work. They took a chance. It paid off and he didn’t need running commentary. Mel was in the wrong on that one. The other judges felt the same way and the guys made it into the next round. Now, the next act was called Come Here. They were from South Korea.

Come Here had twenty-three members. They were a dance group. They worked surprisingly well together in spite of the size of the group. There were no mistakes. It was also pretty enjoyable. They didn’t even wear costumes or masks. They just showed up in the same blue suit with a white shirt. The judges all gave them a standing ovation afterwards. It took Simon a little long to get out of his seat. Once he did, he called them flawless. They were all impressed that the group only needed two weeks to put together choreography.

It turns out perfection doesn’t need much, Its why they got four yesses to move onto the next round. Ryan Inzero was up next. He was twenty-five. His talent doesn’t pay the bills. He does that by working for his family company, but he hopes to one day turned his talent into a way to make money. What his talent was you might ask? He knows how to twirl a sign. He was a sign spinner. Like the ones people have in front of their store to encourage someone to come in and buy something.

Ryan got a bunch of nos. He was only funny to Mel. The next act was called Infinite Spin. They were a group of four women. They were all businesswomen. They came up with their act by having a few drinks and they developed this burlesque act that just so happened to involve fire coming out of their braziers as well. The fire angle made them stand out. Mel felt the fire wasn’t enough. She found their act to be all over the place and gave them a no. The same for Howie. They weren’t moving on to the next round.

Up next was Lady Tada. Her act was silly. It was another one all over the place. She got two rejections from the judges. It also kept getting weirder and weirder. She did a lot of things and none of them well enough to show them off. She was never going to make it to the next round tonight. She was followed by Richard and Sam. They were grand illusionists. They specialty was close up magic. They formed a team about sixteen years ago and have been performing together ever since. They ended up accidentally pressing Simon’s reject button while they were setting up their act.

It was okay because they made a joke about it. They claimed Simon would’ve most likely have pressed it anyway. They were funny. It was part magic/part comedy. They won over the necessary judges to make it to the next round. The one holdout had been Simon. Simon found them a bit annoying he said. They simply have to work harder to impress him and they can do that in the coming weeks. They were followed by Isaac Atkins. He was a Sergeant in the Army. He took leave to come on the show.

Isaac has such a lovely deep voice. He wasn’t a typical singer. He used to sing in his car and post it anonymously on TikTok. Then one day his fellow soldiers found the videos and they encouraged him to try out on the show. Isaac performed “Beggin”, He really does have an amazing voice. Which led to Mel to finally pressing the Golden Buzzer. She felt he earned it and the audience agreed with her. Isaac was so nervous that he had been shaking afterwards. And they gave him something to carry out some of the golden

The following act was Chris Sosa. He was a comedian. He asked if his landlord was watching right now that he should understand he’s doing everything to pay the rent. The money was coming. He just needed a few yesses first. He was a funny guy. The comedians have to work twice as hard sometimes because they have to capture everyone’s attention in the first thirty seconds or their whole act dies on the vine. Chris was able to pull that off. He also received his yesses and he will be moving onto the next round.

Next up was Betty. She was the youngest so far at seventeen. She was from Spain. She was also an amazing singer. She performed “If The World Was Ending”. She had an accent when she talked and a deep voice when she sang. Additionally, she performed a part of the song in her native Spanish. It’s when she wasn’t singing that she got overwhelmed. Mel told her to accept the positive energy from the audience because they all thought she was amazing. They gave her all the yesses she needed to get into the next round and no one was happier by that than the live audience.

Betty was soon followed by LaRussell and the Bay Area Kids. LaRussell was the conductor. The Bay Area Kids were both the band and the dancers. His act combined it to put on a stellar performance. They brought a sense of joy onto the stage. They received four yesses. The judges were proud of their backstory and what they were doing for their community. Up next was a poet. He delivered on inspiration and vocals. Poetry ran through his family. He honored them all tonight. And he received all four yesses from the judges.

You don’t normally hear from Poets. The ones that do make it to the stage though were often so talented that they might end up winning the whole thing. This goes for Guy Kelton Jones too. After him, there was Akira. Akira was from Japan. He needed a translator for some parts and so Mel asking him a bunch of questions began to annoy Simon. Simon then asked questions just to annoy Mel. They both ended up quit doing that and that allowed Akira to show his talent. Why does his talent require him to be completely naked onstage?

You kept hiding the important bits behind objects onstage. This included one that had all the judges’ faces on it. It was so silly that it had Simon laughing. It also earned a reject from Mel. She couldn’t believe that he came all the way from Japan just to do that. Akira received his one and only no from her while all the other judges said yes. Akira was moving onto the next round where he has to up his act. Maybe he could even win over Mel that time.

THE END!
