The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 14-18 reveal that some deception will come to light.
There’ll also be some schemers who make bad decisions while some bedroom partners make equally bad ones!
For starters, Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) trap for Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) could lead to some terrifying moments.
It looks like Jack might fake a medical crisis as part of that plan, but trying to outsmart fugitive Patty could be a big mistake.
Patty will be more unhinged than ever and could pose a serious threat to Jack, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and their loved ones.
As for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), he may get caught lying to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
It seems Matt may conceal some Patty-related secrets, so that could lead to romantic trouble once things blow up.
However, Y&R fans know Phyllis is awfully smitten with Matt at this point.
It would take a lot more than a few Patty lies to break them up at this point, so Phyllis should stand by Matt and keep scheming with him.
Phyllis thinks that if Matt can save Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) from some fake danger, he’ll be hailed as a hero and can truly be redeemed.
Unfortunately, this whole plot seems like it’s doomed to end in catastrophe.
In the meantime, let’s talk about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) since they’re destined to enjoy a third round of passion soon.
Victoria and Kyle will cave in when it comes to the temptation they feel for each other, so they’ll have to accept that and just focus on not getting busted.
It may be too early to tell whether Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) surgery worked, but there’ll still be some story developments regarding his personal life.
Will Nate and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) move forward with a romance now that they’ve kissed?
Stephanie will temporarily exit down the road, but there’s still time for her to explore things with Nate for a bit if that’s what they decide.
That said, Nate and Stephanie may also realize things could get tricky since she’ll be his boss if he resumes work at the hospital.
As for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll be committed to delivering a vengeful blow to the Abbott clan.
It looks like Victor will want to use Vibrante to make that happen, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) could get in the way now that she’s the CEO.
Finally, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will dig her heels in when it comes to her reunion with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Devon Winters (Bryton James) may try to stir up more trouble, but Lily will refuse to let him!
