Newman Enterprises is hoping to make a splash in the cosmetic world through Vibrante, but some sabotage could ruin their launch.
Likewise, some sabotage could be coming for Jabot as well.
There’s no way Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be able to resist causing trouble now that yet another Newman-Abbott showdown is in motion.
Y&R fans know Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) doesn’t view a startup like Vibrante as a very serious threat.
With Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) on the throne, Jack is also hopeful about her leadership and ability to make this a fair fight.
Of course, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) is being more realistic about Victor’s potential involvement here.
Even if Victor fails to influence Nikki’s behavior, he’s proven that he often orders shady moves whether she likes it or not.
It’s possible some double sabotage is brewing depending on how things play out.
We could imagine sneaky Diane sabotaging Vibrante in some way due to her paranoia about Victor.
Naturally, part of Diane’s motive could also be jealousy and the desire to go after Nikki since she remains irritated over Jack’s friendship with his ex.
Then again, maybe Diane could simply retaliate after Victor strikes first.
Victor might try to weaken Jabot with some sabotage ahead of Vibrante’s big debut, so Diane might respond by trying to ruin that debut entirely.
Regardless, this could be Diane’s chance to target Vibrante in some way, so Jack won’t be happy if she goes behind his back!
Even if Victor deserves it, Jack won’t approve of Diane keeping secrets and doing anything that’ll hurt Nikki or Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Nevertheless, Diane is definitely wary of this whole situation with Vibrante and has good reasons to be concerned.
Between Diane and Victor, there could be some double sabotage drama brewing.
