The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may soon wish he’d stayed in rehab a little longer and avoided the turmoil he’s now facing on the outside.
Nick’s attempt to transition back into society hasn’t gone as well as he intended and may get even worse if his arrest is on the way!
Shortly after Nick’s rehab release, he threw himself back into work and seemed to be doing better with that distraction.
However, this Y&R story took a stunning turn when Nick found out Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) overdosed and ended up hospitalized once more.
Nick truly believed Marie was headed off to a rehab facility in her hometown and that she’d have her parents nearby for support.
In reality, Marie doesn’t have any family members to rely on, so she bought more drugs from Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell) and went back off the rails.
That triggered Nick’s fury, so he lured Joe into a trap and let his fist do the rest.
Nick gave Joe a good walloping based on his flashback in the October 2 episode, but he’s lying to Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) and acting like he barely landed a blow while trying to stop Joe from running off.
In reality, Nick is guilty of a major attack on Joe.
Whether Joe is still alive or not, Nick is responsible for causing serious harm and could end up paying the price.
Detective Burrow is investigating and isn’t just going to let this go.
Although Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will take steps to hide any wrongdoing on Nick’s part, that doesn’t mean he’ll be able to shield his son completely.
At this point, multiple Newmans are worried about Nick’s temper and vengeful desires.
Since there have been fears about Nick potentially landing in a jail cell, is that where he’ll wind up?
Detective Burrow might eventually arrest Nick and throw him behind bars depending on whatever evidence comes to light.
Of course, that doesn’t mean the arrest will stick, but Nick could at least get jailed for a while to deliver some drama.
Victor may have to rely on Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to get Nick out of a legal jam, so stay tuned for any upsetting news ahead for the Newmans.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will continue to worry his loved ones, but maybe he can truly get his life together sooner or later!
