The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Friday, October 30, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will seek Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) help with a dilemma.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will give Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) some good advice, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on the CBS soap.
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis will grill Sharon and Nick about Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), but Nick will push them both to drop it.
Once Sharon is alone with Phyllis, she’ll fill her in on all the latest details and admit she’s worried Nick took matters into his own hands.
Matt is supposedly at some out-of-state clinic, but Sharon will fear Nick might’ve stashed him somewhere else.
Phyllis will be wary of getting pulled back in since it really hurt her when Matt left.
Plus, Phyllis will worry about meeting the version of Matt that she’s been warned about for so long.
All this will leave Phyllis wanting to accept that her chapter with Matt is over.
That said, Phyllis will ultimately agree with Sharon’s idea to team up and make Nick tell them what really happened to Matt since they deserve answers.
At the GCAC, Y&R spoilers say Nick will bump into Adam, who’ll open up about the connection he feels to Ruby Spectra-Abbott and how protective he feels.
Adam will also mention his multiple visits with Sally and the baby before complaining about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) running off to London.
Nick will defend Billy since Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow) has been in such bad shape.
Nick will also think it’s best for Adam to give Sally and Ruby some space, so he’ll push his brother to let this go.
At Society, Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) will host a dinner for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) now that he’s going back to work at the hospital.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will also be present for the celebration.
Since Abby wasn’t aware of Nate and Stephanie’s romantic connection, she’ll be surprised when she puts it together.
As for Lily, she’ll be missing Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and will be surprised when Devon admits he gets it.
Devon will also acknowledge that life’s too short to hold grudges and will get a hug when he decides he can live with Lily and Cane’s reunion.
Cane will eventually call with good news about Jill being on the road to recovery.
Since Jill won’t want everyone hovering and treating her differently, Cane will admit he’s coming home.
In London, Billy will pay another surprise visit to Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) apartment to share positive info on Jill and confess that he’s headed home, too.
Victoria won’t be sure when she’s going back to Genoa City and will claim it depends on how her next meeting goes.
Billy will mention running into Kyle, so Victoria will pretend she’s surprised to hear that.
When Billy worries Kyle might be in town to sabotage Vibrante, Victoria will insist that’s impossible since her meeting is about closing a deal for Newman Enterprises.
Billy will be glad he’s wrong and will leave soon after.
Kyle will come out of hiding and rejoin Victoria, so they’ll consider whether this is getting too stressful when it was supposed to be fun.
Although Kyle and Victoria clearly won’t like the idea of stopping what they’ve started up, they won’t want their families finding out.
Victoria will ask Kyle if he thinks maybe it’s time that they ended this.
