NHL Enforcer Sean Avery Locked Up For Shoving A Policeman

NHL star Sean Avery, a notorious on-ice bully boy and enforcer, was arrested early this morning after he shoved a police officer who was trying to break up a loud party at his home in the Hollywood Hills.

According to law enforcement sources, Sean’s neighbor called police to complain about the noise coming from his home. When police arrived at about 1:00 AM Avery answered the door but then shoved a cop and slammed the door in his face.

What did Avery have to get flushed down the toilet before the cops came in?

Police then knocked again, the New York Rangers star sobered up quickly and opened up the door. According to law enforcement Avery was extremely cooperative after that, but was still arrested for battery on a peace officer.

He was taken to the Hollywood police station and is being held on $20,000 bail.
