The X Factor USA Top 7 Double Elimination Results Live Recap 12/01/11

Tonight is another elimination night on The X Factor USA.  On tonight’s show two of the seven remaining contestants will be sent home, which will leave us with the Top 5.   The competition is really heating up and the contestants are upping their games so it is anyone’s guess who will be going home. Stay tuned as we covers the official recap of show with up-to-the-minute details.   Last  night was Michael Jackson themed episode.   The remaining top 7 will covered tunes from the Michael Jackson’s songbook.  If you missed the episode you can read our official recap here.

How the double elimination will work tonight is the lowest vote total will automatically be booted. It will then be up to the next two lowest to battle it out for the right to continue.   We conducted a poll this morning and were surprised with the results.  Almost 40 % of people who voted thought Astro should go home tonight.  In second place in our poll is Marcus Canty with 27% of the votes.  It is going to be a tough decision this week,  our sister site at Fit Fab totally disagrees with our poll and thought Astro and Marcus gave the best performances of the evening.  hmmmm, what did you think.

Here is a list of the remaining nine contestants, the songs they sang last night and  a link to their performance videos:   Melanie Amaro singing Earth Song here, Chris Rene singing and rapping I’ll Be There here, Marcus Canty singing Pretty Young Thing here, Rachel Crow singing Can You Feel It hereDrew Ryniewicz singing Billy Jean here, Astro rapping Black or White  here and Josh Krajcik singing Dirty Diana here.

Our Sister site Fit Fab Celeb will be covering the show with up-to-the-minute here.  The results show start at 8PM, so make sure to this spot and refresh often!
