Big Brother star Amanda Zuckerman is missing her boyfriend, McCrae Olson. Olson is currently in Chicago, spending time with Big Brother’s Season 15 winner Andy Herren.
Amanda tweeted, “Just got facetimed by my @mccraechum and idiot @AndyHerren, and I’m feeling like I need to book my flight.” She may be joking about it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she actually went and joined McCrae and Andy in Chicago. Although most fans assumed that Amanda’s relationship with McCrae on Big Brother was just a ‘showmance’, it was clear that she had actual feelings for him when the show ended and the two ended up reuniting. Against the odds and against people’s expectations, the couple has stayed together through thick and thin, and through all the tabloid speculation and Internet rumors that have cropped up since the show ended.
Somehow, their reputations have largely remained intact, even though the show did a solid job of ruining most of the contestants’ lives after they proved themselves to be racist and homophobic. Amanda was one of the more neutral members of the cast, and although she was involved in some spats with other contestants, it was nothing to the level of most of the others. In fact, Amanda seemed to spend most of the time on the show with McCrae, which is what started the showmance speculation in the first place. Obviously, the relationship did not help with either one of them winning, but it looks like what may have started off as a showmance eventually developed into real feelings. Amanda and McCrae have been inseparable for a few months, and based on their current tweets, they’re still going strong.
