Poor Rob Kardashian. Can you imagine having the Kardashians and Jenners for a family? It’s bad enough that we’re stuck with them in the media and on our televisions, but having to live with them? I can’t blame him for getting ready to join The Biggest Loser, if only to get away from his sisters for a few months.
According to a new report from Hollywood Life, Rob’s decision to join the Biggest Loser was influenced by his mother, Kris Jenner. Sources add that Kris is forcing Rob to join the program, telling him that it’s a perfect way to lose weight and gain some positive publicity while he’s at it. Um, has Kris even watched the show? I wouldn’t call most of what goes on in that show ‘positive’ publicity – more like humiliation.
Hollywood Life’s source adds that there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes business consultations happening on whether to add Rob to the show, explaining, “Everyone is on board for this to happen except Rob, he still needs convincing. But most people involved in the talks think Kris will get her way and have him join the show.”
Of course the guy still needs convincing! He has some pride left, something that the rest of his family gave up a long time ago. Of course Kris Jenner would never be able to comprehend how humiliating and degrading it would be for him to go on television and be so open about his weight gain. He couldn’t even make it through his own sister’s wedding for fear of getting photographed – how’s he supposed to sit through several episodes of getting taped on video?
Plus, I don’t think the Biggest Loser is a viable solution for all of Rob’s problems. If anything, he should be going to rehab or seeing a psychiatrist for his rumored depression issues, not going on television and making it worse.
