The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Max Causes Drama for Abby and Stitch – Sage Rages at Dr. Anderson, Warns Sharon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, January 7, tease that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will discuss Natalie and the business venture. It seems Natalie has agreed to put off finding other investors until Billy (Burgess Jenkins) is out of surgery.

Mariah won’t be sure they can trust Natalie, but Kevin will change the subject to Mariah’s birthday.

When Kevin hands over a gift, Mariah will open the box and pull out a toy Ferrari. Kevin will suggest that Mariah will get a real one once the money starts rolling in from their project. At the hospital, Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) will bicker over his lack of compassion.

Much to Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) chagrin, Victor will continue to dig for information on the venture. They’ll argue and Phyllis will tell Jack to hurry up on getting the money to Kevin. Victor will meet up with Kevin and Mariah at Crimson Lights.

Kevin will be reluctant to say much about the project, but he’ll ultimately decide to spill some details. Victor will like what he hears. As Victor leaves, he’ll urge Kevin not to wait around on Billy.

Later, Jack will arrive and announce that he’s ready to invest. Kevin’s strange response will make Jack suspicious. Jack will ask if Kevin has received another offer. Meanwhile, Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) will show up at Sharon (Sharon Case) and Dylan’s (Steve Burton) house.

They’ll be concerned when Dr. Anderson suggests that Sharon needs to change her meds. However, Dr. Anderson will believe it’s the right move.

Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will come over to drop off Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) for Mariah’s surprise party. When Sharon and Faith go to the kitchen, Sage will hold Sully. She’ll ask Dr. Anderson why she seems so invested in Sharon’s personal life. Dr. Anderson will be wonder why Sage cares.

When Sharon returns, she’ll take Sully out of the room. Dr. Anderson will mention that it’s not a good idea for Sage to spend so much time with Sully. Dr. A will add that she told Nick (Joshua Morrow) not to move back in with Sage.

Sage will finally have enough of Dr. Anderson’s interference. Dr. Anderson will look perturbed as Sage shouts that she needs to stay out of her life.

After Dr. Anderson leaves, Sage will open up to Sharon about her frustration. Sharon will suggest that Dr. Anderson is so involved because all of their lives are connected. Sage will suspect that something more is going on. Later, Mariah will get a text and head over to Sharon’s place.

Sharon and Faith will shout, “Surprise!” They’ll wish Mariah a happy birthday.

At the hospital, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Phyllis will get updates on Billy’s condition. They’ll hear that Billy suffered cardiac arrest during surgery and has very little brain activity. Nearby, Dr. Anderson will warn Nick that letting Sage near Sully could be dangerous.

Nick will agree to keep a close eye on Sage. After their encounter, Sage will find Nick and urge him to ignore Dr. Anderson’s advice.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Paul (Doug Davidson) will have big news for Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby (Melissa Ordway). Max’s (Jared Breeze) mom died in car accident. It seems Jenna was taking a phone call from Abby. Max will continue to blame Abby and she’ll try to explain why she called. Paul will take Max to see a social worker.

Once they’re alone, Stitch and Abby will mull over what’s just happened. Abby will suggest that Max should come live with them. When Paul comes back, Stitch will let him know that he’ll be there for his son. Stitch will spend a few moments trying to comfort Max. While they’re bonding elsewhere, Abby will indicate that she’s having trouble wrapping her head around all of this.

Paul will admit that there’s always an adjustment period for kids and stepparents. Dylan will chime in that Abby just needs to be patient. At the athletic club, Abby will try to get Max excited about moving in with them. When Stitch points out that Max wants to be alone with his dad for a few days, Abby’s heart will sink.

Stitch will go after Abby when she rushes off. They’ll talk things over and Abby will eventually understand. When they go back to their table, Max will be gone. It looks like parenthood isn’t going to be easy for these two. Y&R viewers will be anxious to see how Stitch and Abby will handle this sudden change in their lives.
