Bella Hadid is finally ready to move on from her relationship with The Weeknd. The reality star turned model is super focused on her career. Since she’s been enjoying her downtime, she has plenty of time to flirt with guys. Bella narrowly avoided an awkward run-in with The Weeknd and Selena Gomez at the Met Gala. She showed up to the red carpet in a black sheer catsuit, which showed that she’s ready to get back out there and date again.
It looks like she already has her eye on one guy – but he’s married. She had fun flirting with the guy on a recent flight, reports Page Six. Hank Freid, owner of the Sanctuary Hotel on Times Square, was on a Delta flight from New York to Miami last week. He sat in first class next to Hadid, 20, who looks single and ready to mingle according to her Instagram account.
The socialite was flying down to the now-infamous Fyre Festival in the Bahamas. Bella was quite taken by the man, which is probably because he has money. The two chatted up a storm on the flight. Hank enjoyed a Bloody Mary while Bella drank some red wine. That’s when things got flirty between them.
While drinking, she told him, “I think I’m drinking the wrong thing. I’ll have what you’re having.”
Hadid even slipped him her phone number. She was eager to get things started. Freid said that she sent him a text message later that night, asking if he wanted to go with to the nightclub. He declined since he’s a married man. Yikes. But that didn’t stop him from flirting with her and exchanging phone numbers.
Freid extended Hadid the offer for her and her friends to visit his Haven Rooftop sometime. No word on whether his wife would be along. Of course, Bella’s team is not talking about this slight controversy. Things have quickly changed for the model who admitted that she’s not ready to date after her split. In her March cover story for Teen Vogue, she revealed that she’s still in love with the “Starboy” singer.
“It was my first breakup – or second, next to the horse – and so public. As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it’s always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily,” she said. “It’ll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through.”
Then, in an interview with Porter magazine, the sultry brunette said that she’s taking a break from dating at the moment. She wants to focus on herself and her modeling career.
“I’m just really focusing on myself, and my work, and just being the best that I can be,” she said. “I’m not really worried about what guys think of me, I’m just trying to be a woman!”
Bella is obviously still reeling from her split. She unfollowed both The Weeknd and Selena Gomez on Instagram after they were first spotted kissing in L.A. back in January. She’s even been sharing a series of bikini photos on her Instagram account.
It looks like this younger Hadid sister may become a little desperate in her dating search. Her older sister, Gigi Hadid, has been happily dating Zayn Malik for over a year.
