Are Bella Hadid and The Weeknd getting married?! The singing sensation, also known as Abel Tesfaye, and his girlfriend were spotted in London this week for the 2016 BRIT Awards. Bella Hadid bumped in to some photogs while she was out and about in Europe, supporting her boyfriend – and they had a field day with the new ring she was rocking on her wedding finger. Is it possible that Bella and The Weeknd got secretly engaged?
Bella Hadid and The Weeknd first stepped out as an official couple back in May 2015, which was 10 months ago. Dating for 10 months in Hollywood is like an eternity – they might as well just change their last names and start adopting babies, because it doesn’t get much more serious than 10 months. So, if The Weeknd and Bella Hadid were to get engaged, no one would be too shocked, after all they have been dating for practically forever.
We’re pretty sure it is NOT an engagement ring though. First of all, the ring is super tiny – and considering how many albums Abel has sold, we like to think he would splurge a little on his lucky lady. Second of all, we’re talking about The Weeknd, this is the same guy that sang “I just fu***d two bitches before I saw you” – doesn’t exactly sound like marriage material.
All jokes aside, Bella and the Weeknd both kind of march to their own drummer and do their own thing – we don’t really see a traditional wedding or a romantic proposal in their future. However, it would be kind of hilarious if Gigi Hadid’s little sister lands a husband while she is still hopping from pop star to pop star.
