Kate Hudson has a new beau, and to absolutely no one’s surprise, he is a musician. Kate is currently dating Danny Fujikawa, a folk band rocker, and the co-founder of Lightwave Records.
The new couple showed up for the premiere of Kate’s mother, Goldie Hawn’s new comedy flick, “Snatched”. The pair walked the red carpet together and even shared a kiss in front of the cameras. Kate doesn’t seem to have any reservations about being public with her new man; earlier in the day Kate had taken to Snapchat to document her and Danny getting ready for the premiere. Rumors about the two first surfaced in March when paparazzi caught them shopping and running errands in L.A.
Kate is known to have a thing for musicians. She was just starting to get noticed in Hollywood and was nominated for an Oscar for her role in “Almost Famous” when she married “The Black Crows” singer, Chris Robinson. Their marriage lasted about seven years. Their split was amicable, but recently Chris made headlines when he sued Kate for custody of their 13 year old son, Ryder.
No reason was given as to why Chris suddenly wanted a different living arrangement for their son, but the divorced couple will head to court at a later date to determine custody.
Kate also shares a son with “Muse” front man, Matt Bellamy. Kate and Matt were together for about five years and even got engaged at one point, but broke off the relationship before they actually married. Their son, Bingham is five years old.
Two years ago Kate set tongues wagging when she hooked up with a much younger singer, Nick Jonas. Nick was only 23 at the time, while Kate was 36. She joined him on tour in Florida and they even took in a trip to Disney World. They were later spotted by fans while on a ski trip in California.
