Arnold Schwarzenegger Commissions Three Statues Of Himself

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has commissioned not one — not two, but THREE life-sized statues of himself!

If you thought he was overcompensating for *something* with one statue, then what does having three built say about the Governator?

Reportedly, Arnold ordered three of the eight-foot-tall statues. One shows him posing in his bodybuilding days, which was based on a 22-inch sculpture by Ralph Crawford in 1980. That statue has already been completed and Arnie has already inspected it at the TW Bronze gallery earlier this month.

The owner of the gallery, Tim Park, said, “His exact words were, ‘This is fantastic’, and he said it about four times.”

After inspecting the piece, he has already had it sent to his childhood home in Thal, Austria, where they have an entire museum dedicated to his life and career.

The second statue is set to be completed by the end of the month and will be shipped off to Columbus, Ohio, where they hold a yearly bodybuilding competition in his honor.

He’s said to be keeping the third statue for himself. So we’ve gotta ask….immortalizing his own greatness? Or just plain narcissistic? Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think!
