Leave it to Arnold Schwarzenegger to turn a profit from cheating on Maria Shriver and fathering a child with her housekeeper. Arnold has decided that its time to cash in on all the furor surrounding his celebrated split with Maria Shriver by authoring a tell-all autobiography.
Reports are that Arnold is working on the book, provisionally titled ‘Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story,’ while he is shooting his next film ‘The Expendables 2,’ with Sylvester Stallone.
In typical Schwarzeneggar fashion we can expect his memoir to reflect a celebration of his personal experience of the American Dream.
Arnold arrived as a young Austrian immigrant barely speaking English, became the King of bodybuilding, then King of Hollywood, and then King of California… and he achieved most of his unprecedented success with the help a prominent member of the Kennedy clan by his side – Maria Shriver. As for how he chose to repay her love, loyalty and support… well you’ll have to buy the book!
The publisher is Simon & Schuster who also handled Arnold’s 1977 book, ‘The Education of a Bodybuilder.’ I bet Arnold’s advance for this one is at least 100 times what he got last time.
We can assume that Arnold has realized that he is not the much loved man he once was and so he might as well get even richer. The problem with believing anything Arnold has to say is that we know what a great liar he is – successfully hiding from the public and his own family his affair with Mildred Baena and paternity of their child, Joseph, for 14 years.
