Chris Brown Denies U.K. Ban

Chris Brown Denies U.K. Ban

At the end of last week, it was rumored that Chris Brown had to pull out of the Michael Jackson Forever Tribute Concert, because he was banned in the U.K. It was claimed that his criminal record prevented him from traveling to Wales, where the concert was being held.

Now, the R&B singer is denying any restrictions on his travels, saying that any reports out there claiming otherwise are false.

His rep stated that Chris was invited to perform in the show, “however, his previously booked domestic F.A.M.E. tour concert dates didn’t allow him to accept the honor and therefore he never planned to go to the U.K. He was not banned.”

His rep also said that he was busy over the weekend playing concerts in Tampa, Charlotte and Virginia Beach, all of which had been scheduled prior to his invitation to honor the late King of Pop.

Is he making excuses? Or do you believe him? As much as I think he’s a douche, I doubt that he’d miss out on the opportunity to famewhore himself out for the chance to once again attach his name to Michael Jackson’s. What do you think?
