Reality Star, author and fashion designer Lauren Conrad launches a beauty website. TheBeautyDepartment.com has tutorials on Conrad’s hair and makeup styles, as well as her current trendy “obsessions” i.e. “ombre nails”. The Lauren Conrad braid became quite the trend after she was seen rocking it a few episodes of The Hills, I’m sure a lot of girls would love to know more LC styles.
Everything Conrad touches seems to turn to gold. Besides the obvious popularity of reality shows Laguna Beach and The Hills, her books, L.A. Candy, Sweet Little Lies and Sugar and Spice, made the New York Times best seller list, leading into another three-book deal with publisher HarperCollins. She also plans to launch a third fashion line, Paper Crown, in fall 2011.
