Last night, Sean Kingston, 21, and his girlfriend (friend that is a girl, not sure if they are dating) were badly injured in a jet ski accident. After spending the night in the trauma unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital, the two were transported to the ICU. According to his reps, Kingston is in critical condition, but is said to be stabilized as of this hour.
The accident took place in Miami and the cause of the crash is still being investigated. However, Miami Authorities have stated that there appears to be no indication of drugs and/or alcohol playing a role in the event.
The two were flung off the jet ski after running into a bridge around 6 PM. His friends, including Justin Bieber, have made an effort to extend their well-wishes. Bieber tweeted, “[Kingston is] In my prayers tonight. A true friend and big bro. Please keep him in your prayers tonight as well.”
