Tonight on ABC it’s the Dancing With The Stars 2012 second Result Show of Season 14 and we will say goodbye to one more contestant tonight. On last week’s episode we lost our first casualty of the season tennis legend Martina Navratilova. If you missed the show you can read our official recap here!
On last night’s show the theme of the night was “The Most Memorable Year of My Life,”and the 11 remaining contestants were challenged to perform a meaningful dance using any style dance of their choice.
At the top of the leaderboard after last night’s performance is Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins who burst into tears after her performance – she gained a 29 out of a possible 30 points for her dance from judges. Katherine was not the only person to cry – Sherri Shepherd also wept as she talked about the premature birth of her son Jeffrey; she went on to score 24 out of 30 for her rumba with partner Val Chrmerkovskiy.
Meanwhile, William Levy and Cheryl Burke enjoyed a good week, scoring 28 out of 30 for their salsa based on the year 1995, when he went to the US from Cuba. Jack Wagner, Gladys Knight, Melissa Gilbert and Gavin DeGraw came joint bottom of the leader board with 24 points apiece. To see all last night’s performance videos go here!
