Katie was snapped simply beaming last night as she stepped out for dinner with an unknown male companion. Ok, so he didn’t necessarily look like the actress’ type – nor did it appear to be anything more than a friendly date, but still – at least she’s getting out there. And a girl’s got to eat right?
Katie donned a green V-neck dress and cropped leather jacket and wore a huge smile on her face. The mystery fella is unfamiliar to me; perhaps he is a business associate? Katie has just confirmed that she is heading back to Broadway to take part in the ensemble cast of Dead Accounts – maybe her date is a fellow cast member?
Oh speculations, speculations! According to RadarOnline.com, Katie and her friend smiled for the cameras upon leaving the restaurant NoMad, a Mediterranean hot spot in Manhattan’s East Village. They also shared a friendly kiss on the cheek before Mystery Man (this is his new name until further notice) hailed the two a cab. So clearly, it appears Katie has nothing to hide.
Be that as it may, Katie I’m sure has been weathering her fair share of heartbreak. Her 5-year union with Tom came as a shock to most of us, with reports speculating that his faith in Scientology played a huge part in their separation. I say way to be strong Katie – and keep smiling’, it looks good on you girl!
