It’s awfully hard to reign in a party girl before she’s ready to like an adult. Kate Middleton is learning this the hard way, thanks to her sister Pippa Middleton’s slew of missteps. The latest incident has Pippa caught in an x-rated photograph with Vicomte Arthur de Soultrait – one of Pippa’s aristocratic Parisian boytoys
Apparently the birthday boy was celebrating his special day in Paris and was snapped with a dog leash around his neck as Pippa sat nearby. As if Pippa’s gun scandal wasn’t enough Kate was furious when she saw the photo and is starting to wonder if her sister is intentionally trying to make her look bad. According to Now Magazine Kate has actually asked her mother, ‘Why’s she trying to ruin me?’
Kate faced further embarrassment when footage of Pippa speaking on camera while at the debauched bash was shown on primetime French TV.
It’s certainly understandable that Kate would be concerned. After all, she has gone to great lengths to make sure that her own behavior has been impeccable, making her worthy of her royal status.
‘Pippa did her best to explain that none of this is her fault – she feels the situation went out of her control. She’s promised Kate she’ll keep her head down as she doesn’t find this to be a joke at all. She feels very guilty over the consequences.’
It’s not like Pippa hasn’t been warned to watch her step. Both she and Brother James were briefed by Kate last year on how to behave. It seems every step Pippa makes leaves Kate either embarrassed or feeling used.
‘When Pippa was given a free VIP pass for the French Open last June, Kate was unimpressed because she felt Pippa was using her name to grab freebies,‘ says an insider.
Seems everyone will be watching Pippa later this year to see just how she carries herself while promoting her new book, Celebrate – perhaps Pippa should focus on celebate instead.
