Emmy award winning, THE AMAZING RACE returns to CBS tonight with a whole new episode called, “Get Your Sexy On.” On tonight’s show teams endure a steamy detour in Istanbul to keep their race from getting scrubbed.. Did you watch last week’s episode of the season last week? We did and we recapped it HERE for you!
On last week’s show teams crumbled amidst the intense heat of Bangladesh and emotions propelled one Team through the leg after they received disappointing news from home. Last week’s challenge was very difficult and it got the best of many of the teams. On a Route Marker last week, teams had to find the eggplant vender in the Jatrabari Boro Bazaar in order to receive the next clue.
Josh & Brent were the last team to arrive but this was a non-elimination leg and they get the chance to continue. Sometime in the next leg in the race, they will encounter a Speed Bump which they will have to complete.
On tonight’s show the teams are in Istanbul, Turkey – Teams endure a steamy detour in Istanbul to keep their race from getting scrubbed. Meanwhile, after finishing last on the previous leg, Josh and Brent must overcome a tasty Speed Bump in order to keep their hopes of racing alive.

Tonight’s episode: Seven teams remain and one will definitely be eliminated tonight because last week was a non-elimination race.
The capital for Bangladesh is the start of the sixth leg with James & Abba departing first. Teams now have to travel to Istanbul, Turkey with all the other teams following closely behind them. There is only one flight, so everyone is going to be on it together.
Natalie & Nadiya, Trey & Lexi find a wad of money and it belongs to James & Abba who think they lost it in the cab. James & Anna happen upon some very nice locals that give them the exact amount that they need to move on in the race.
There are two options to get to their next destination when they land, it’s by subway or taxi to the ferry. The ferry will take the teams to the Asian side of Turkey to find their next clue. The teams that took the taxi got their faster, James & James along with Rob & Kelley are trailing in last place because they took the subway. James & Jaymes realize their mistake and get off, then take a taxi the rest of the way. Rob & Kelley decide to be leaders and not followers, or so they think and continue on the subway which puts them in to last place.
Once teams find their clue at the ferry station, they must head to “No. 14” at a market to get their Turkish Delight and Detour; In “Simit”, teams have to transport Turkish bagels to three different addresses. In “Scrub It” teams have to pick up their bathing items and head to a bath house to be cleansed like never before.
Josh & Brent have to complete the Speed Bump before they continue; they have to eat ice cream from a marked ice cream vendor, unfortunately they choose the wrong vendor and have to do it all over again. Josh & Brent, Rob & Kelley are the only two teams to transport the bagels, all other teams head for a Turkish bath.
Teams must then head to Carpali Kasi where one person has to dress into traditional Turkish garb while serving Turkish sherbert and earn about twenty U.S. dollars.
Savorona, a ship, is the last stop and the pit stop for this leg of the race and Trey & Lexi are in first place and headed straight to it with James & Abba, Abbie & Ryan closely behind them. Trey & Lexi are team number one and win a trip to Australia. Abbie & Ryan are team number two, James & Abba are team number three, Natalie & Nadiya are team number four and James & Jaymes are team number five.
Josh & Brent are finished and heading to the Pit Stop but their are stuck in traffic, they get out of the taxi and head out on foot, they arrive at the Pit Stop in sixth place.
The last team to arrive is Rob & Kelley, they are eliminated from the race.
