Amanda Zuckerman's Bullying and Racism Tolerated but Evicted Aaryn Gries Attacked by Julie Chen on Big Brother 15 - The Fix Is In!

Tonight Aaryn Gries was the most recent Big Brother 15 contestant to be evicted from the house and if she was expecting to receive a warm and fuzzy greeting from Julie, that was far from what she got. What we saw Julie do tonight was an attempt by Big Brother to deflect attention away from Amanda Zuckerman by picking on Aaryn.

Julie first warmed up Aaryn by asking her why she hated Elissa Slater so much and Aaryn says it was because she lied about being Rachel’s sister. Julie then gets right to the comments that Aaryn made which were completely inappropriate where she made fun of other people for what they looked like and their ethnicity. Julie asked Aaryn about those comments and Aaryn put on her best game face and tried to act innocent, denying that she did anything of the sort.

Then Julie says, “let me quote some of the things you have said” (at this point the color drains from Aaryn’s face); when referring to Candice “be careful what you say in the dark, you might not be able to see the bitch“, when referring to Andy “no one’s going to vote for whoever that queer puts up” and when referring to Helen who is Asian, “shut up, go make some fu*king rice.” But according to Aaryn, these comments were not racial or homophobic, they are simply things people say who are from the south.

The audience could feel Aaryn’s panic when Julie backed her into a corner and they kept laughing at her, it was really awkward.

Aaryn continued to insist that her comments were being taken out of context and these type of comments are very normal back in her home state of Texas and not considered racist.

Julie could not believe that Aaryn would not admit what she did and told her that once she goes home and looks at the live feeds, she hopes she will have a different perspective; somehow I really doubt that she will but I do have a feeling that Aaryn is going to be really pissed when she finds out that she was fired from her job. I guess not everyone in Texas thinks her comments are not racist!
