Everyone knows about the scandal that Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky caused when the rumors of their affair went public. But now, a new tape has popped up on Radar that purports to be audio proof of the infamous dalliance.
It’s been fifteen years since the sex scandal, but the National Enquirer has provided audio proof [via Radar] of the encounter between Clinton and Lewinsky. According to the first few seconds on the tape, Monica offers to take her clothes off if Bill agrees to a meeting without his wife. Certainly a different take from her original report, which claims he was the one who made all the first moves.
Lewinsky is also heard saying, “I have two proposals for you, neither of which is you not seeing me so just deal with it. I’ll quickly sneak over and we can have a nice little visit for 15 minutes, or half an hour, of whatever you want. You can’t refuse me, because I am too cute and adorable. I can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Very persistent…I hope you will just follow the script and do what I want.”
Again, quite different from what the story we’ve heard from Lewinsky fifteen years ago. What do you guys think about the tapes? Do you think they’re legit, or are they fake? If they’re real, it certainly took a very long for them to make their way online. The Enquirer were the people who broke the Tiger Woods story before all the major news media, so they do hit a home run every once in a while. Could this audio tape impact Hillary Clinton’s putative 2016 Presidential campaign? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
