Candice Glover American Idol “Love Song” Video 4/10/13

St. Helena Island native CANDICE GLOVER performed, “Love Song,” by The Cure & Adele’s cover for her Top 6 AMERICAN IDOL performance tonight.  She said about the song, “I am so excited because this is the kind of music I see myself doing in the future.”  Did you watch tonight’s show? We did and we recapped it here for you.   The contestants sang two songs tonight, one will be from Burt Bacharach and Hal David songbook and the other will be “A Song I Wish I Had Written.”

On last week’s show Candice took on The Rolling Stones’ famous hit “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” What a great performance, she rocked the house down!  After Candice sang Randy had this to say about her performance, “She brought the rock – that attitude. She rocked into it.”

On the next live results show tomorrow night tune in to find out which of your favorite finalists will be sent home. Plus, multi-platinum-selling artist, and the very first AMERICAN IDOL ever, Kelly Clarkson, will perform her new single, “People Like Us.” Season 10 winner and platinum-selling artist Scotty McCreery also will perform.

Check out the video below and let us know what you thought of  Candice’s performance tonight? Was it enough for her to stick around another night? Sound out in the comments below and let us know your thoughts.

  2. Bob says:

She nailed it. Other than the weird sound of the middle of the song (was that Nicki Minaj?), I loved it very much. Not the greatest among the 12 seasons of Idol. But one of the best of this season. 84.5/100

  5. […] The ladies certainly stole the show last night and delivered stellar performances.  The standout performance of the night was Candice Glover’s choice for, “A Song She Wished She Had Written.”  Candice sang  “Love Song,” by The Cure & Adele’s cover and it was fantastic.  Randy Jackson stood up for all of the judges and said that it was the best performance ever in the twelve-year history of the show. The audience went crazy!  To see the video of her performance go HERE! […]
