Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo is currently filming the pilot for her spinoff show Manzo’d With Kids. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the show now that the red haired dragon has no one to bully.
Manzo’d with Children is about the Manzos daily life. The show will feature Caroline, her husband Albert, her sister Fran and the couples grown children. I think Caroline is probably staying on television to promote her children’s businesses. It has been reported that she stayed on as a housewife to help her children.
Caroline’s sons Albie and Christopher are expanding their business portfolio. The needy mamma’s boys are opening a second restaurant called Victory Sports Bar and Club. Per US the restaurant is going to be a Vegas Style establishment opening November 23. The website also reports the brothers will open a rooftop restaurant called Victory Terrace in April 2014. Of course we will also hear more about Albie and Christopher’s other ventures. Their first restaurant Little Town New Jersey could use some positive publicity. Its Yelp ratings run from 1 to 4 stars. BLK water is still not producing enough revenue for the brother’s to live on. The brothers need all the publicity they can get for this failing venture.
The Franklin Lakes Buttinsky also has a daughter, Lauren. She runs a business called Cafface Beauty Bar. Lauren opened the spa with the help of her mother. Caroline posted a commercial for Lauren’s business on her website and the reactions to it are mixed. One viewer said it looked like a nice place but the commercial is boring. Regardless of her horrible advertising Cafface is a very successful business. Here rating on Yelp is 4 out of 5 stars. Despite the ups and downs of being on television Lauren enjoys being on camera. She told Glamour magazine in 2012 “I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t get caught up in being on TV for a little bit. I said to my boyfriend, Vito, a while ago, “I found a ring that I want. Go buy it, and we’ll get married on TV.” We saw very little of Cafface on Real Housewives of New Jersey so expect to see it more on the spin off.
I’m not surprised the Manzo kids are launching their businesses based on their mom’s fame. Caroline is still breast feeding them. She needs to control her kids as much as they need her to help start and promote their businesses.
