Disney star Dylan Sprouse’s nude photos that were “leaked by a girl he used to text” have become an overnight sensation. Multiple times throughout the night “Dylan Sprouse” was trending worldwide on Twitter, and he has gained over 200,000 followers in less than 24 hours.
The Suite Life star has been taking the nude photo scandal very well, almost too well. Instead of following nude Disney star protocol and denying the photos, he owned up to them very quickly. He even made light of the situation and apologized for them on Twitter and stated, “Sorry I’m not 14 and chubby anymore.” This morning when the nude photo uproar began to quiet down, he added fuel to the fire and tweeted, “At least you can’t see my third testicle.”
Dylan took to Tumblr to also apologize for the photo, in a blog post he wrote, “First off, I will state that the reason I’m making light of the situation is because I don’t think what I did was wrong. To be blunt, I was proud of my progress in the gym, thought I looked hot, and wanted to share it. I’m of the mindset that whoever you are, if you are proud of your body and want to show it off, so be it! You do you. There is an odd taboo with the human form (especially in the USA) and I don’t particularly think its a good thing to teach people that you should “hide yourself” as something incredibly sacred. Blah blah blah, that’s a medieval notion.”
We can’t help but wonder if Dylan’s nude photo scandal was planned. Just two months ago TMZ and multiple other media outlets posted photos of Dylan Sprouse working at a restaurant in New York City. Rumors ran rampant that the Disney star was broke, Sprouse denied those claims and stated he worked at the restaurant just to pay for his “video game habits.” Why would any out-of-work actor get a real job, unless he really needed the money? It is too coincidental that two months after Dylan was spotted working a mundane average-joe job, nude photos of him were released to the public and he became an over-night sensation. Dylan Sprouse should have NO problem trying to find a job now!
