We’ve already had plenty of Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny moments at Comic-Con during the X-Files anniversary panel, but they’re reportedly set to reunite once again for another X-Files panel at New York’s Paley Center.
According to a report by InsideTV, they will discuss, “the iconic sci-fi series that largely defined the paranoid thriller for the nineties, and whose influence can still be felt in supernatural dramas airing today.” Well, and they’ll give the shippers plenty of fodder for their fan fiction.
While both David and Gillian are incredibly busy with their post X-Files careers, they obviously love seeing each other. Their affection for each other is very high, and as we’ve covered here at CDL so often, there’s a very high chance of something else going on. They might be trying their best to hide their relationship from the public, but that doesn’t work when you’ve played characters as beloved as Mulder and Scully. Multiple eyewitnesses have mentioned that they’ve spotted Gillian at David’s New York apartment, and the chemistry between them is so red-hot that it’s hard to believe otherwise.
Regardless, they do seem to love their X-Files panels, and I’m sure their *cough* relationship with each other is only one reason why. They obviously owe the show their entire career, and they probably make millions of syndication considering the show’s popularity.
