Finally, Celeb Dirty Laundry can confirm that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev will be together this weekend! The couple posted a video late yesterday to Nina’s Whosay page and it was aimed at Kayla, a young girl in need of a new lung. Nina also tweeted.

We’ve watched these two do lots of charity work together and in the video they praise Kayla for her strength and tell her that they’re coming to visit her in Toronto today. I love that Ian and Nina so often choose to help support others rather than spend a well-deserved weekend relaxing at the beach. They are two stars that really have put their celebrity to good use.
So how about those break up rumors? The couple of 18 months hasn’t been seen together in a month and until this week there was absolutely no contact between them on any social networking sites since before the Oscars. It certainly appears that they took some time apart to reevaluate things. Ian did what boys do- he ran, while Nina chilled with family and girlfriends Perhaps it was Kayla that prompted them to get back in touch and that led to a few important conversations.
