I guess we know the reason for why Emily Maynard was being so rude and snarky on Twitter during the Bachelorette finale – she was jealous.
Emily obviously has her own history with the Bachelorette, but she and her fiance, Jef Holm, could barely last a year before breaking up. So it was understandable why she was writing such rude comments during the Bachelorette finale, criticizing Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried.
But even then, could there have been another reason why she was being so inconsiderate towards Desiree? Her former boyfriend, Jef Holm, has admitted that he actually has a crush on Desiree. Bazinga.
Jef tweeted, “Des is a babe.” Well, he thought Emily was a ‘babe’ too, and we all know how well that turned out. But even then, it’s got to sting a little when your ex-boyfriend decides to tell the whole world that he thinks the current Bachelorette is a ‘babe’, especially when he was rumored to have cheated on you.
So I have some sympathy for Emily. She’s not the nicest person in the world, and her tweets during the finale were bordering on being incredibly bitchy, but I might be too if I was in her position. Besides, it’s not like Desiree and Chris are going to last, so maybe she has a point.
