According to reports, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have parted ways and broken off their engagement in the wake of their separation. The reports claim that after Justin moved to NYC and Jennifer stayed in LA, the rift between them become too much to overcome and the couple have slowly been headed for a permanent breakup.
However, we’re also hearing sources claim that Jennifer may also be worried about Justin’s ex-girlfriend, Heidi Bivens. Everybody knows that Justin and Jennifer ‘overlapped’ with Justin and Heidi, and it was clear that Justin’s breakup with Heidi was not mutual. Of course, now that Justin is in NYC and will likely be there for the next few months [even more if his TV pilot gets picked up], then there are chances that he’ll meet his ex-girlfriend [fiancé] for lunch or dinner – and maybe more?
I don’t blame Jennifer for feeling insecure. She’s had to go through this once already, with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. When your significant other is away for a long time and in a big city with plenty of opportunities to cheat, it’s hard for anyone to deal with it – especially someone like Jennifer, who has already been through this once.
There’s also the fact that Justin’s gotten pretty much everything he could get from Jennifer in terms of his career – all of his reps have been upgraded, he has access to the best scripts and roles, and he’s also a major celebrity in the public’s mind. It’s not like he needs to keep dating Jennifer for his career, so if they break up – what would keep him from moving on? Or in this case, moving backwards?
